Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Polaris ("the App"), a macOS application sold by Chuong Le ("CDev"). By purchasing or using the App you agree to these terms.
License
Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App:
- Pro subscription (monthly or yearly): up to 2 devices, while the subscription is active
- Lifetime: up to 3 devices, perpetually, including updates
Device activations are counted per Mac. You may deactivate a device in the App's Settings to free its slot. License keys are personal — sharing, reselling, or publishing them is prohibited and may result in revocation without refund.
Payments, taxes, and refunds
All payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as Merchant of Record — it handles payment methods, sales tax/VAT, and invoicing. Prices are in USD.
Refund policy: full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked — email [email protected]. Refunded licenses are deactivated automatically.
Subscriptions: renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in the Polar customer portal — the App remains usable until the end of the paid period. Failed renewal payments enter a grace period before the license is suspended.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, crack, or circumvent the license system
- Use the App to violate Apple's or any third party's terms of service
- Misrepresent the App as your own product or redistribute it
Accuracy of data
ASO data (keyword positions, popularity/difficulty scores, SERP results) is derived from public App Store endpoints and our own analysis. It is provided as informational tooling — we don't guarantee rankings, downloads, or revenue outcomes. Metadata decisions remain your responsibility.
Warranty & liability
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost revenue, lost rankings, data loss).
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
